Alexia attended our on site high school with the support of free meals and childcare in our Parent Child Centre. She also participates in groups like Nobody’s Perfect, a parenting group where she can share parenting frustrations and challenges without judgement, and get support from her friends and Jessie’s counsellors. Now that Alexia’s daughter V is in elementary school, she’s thinking about what’s next. She’d like to explore work in the climate change space, and she’s building a plan with the support of her Jessie’s counsellor to apply for post-secondary education to help her meet her goals.
