Host A Fundraising Event
Consider turning an event into a fundraiser to benefit Jessie’s. It can be as simple as asking for donations in lieu of gift giving at a baby shower or a birthday party. You might also like to host a dinner party, a bake sale, or organize a sports event to raise awareness and raise funds.

Donate Items
Our Swap Shop is stocked with baby clothes and equipment, clothes for young women, including maternity clothes, and many useful household items.

Change a life Today
Post-Secondary Scholarship Endowment Fund
Working with the Toronto District School Board, we offer an on-site high school so young moms can graduate from grade 12 with an Ontario high school diploma. Each student receives an individually-tailored program that focuses on academics as well as life skills. The timetable allows for maximum flexibility to help young moms manage the responsibilities of motherhood including attending doctors’ appointments. Individual support is available to maintain motivation and attendance when outside factors can become barriers to success.

100% Success rate
100% of participants in our on-site high school succeed in completing their high school education. The majority of them express interest in continuing on with higher education. Jessie’sscholarship program was launched so that high school graduates could receive some financial support to help pay tuition fees for a post-secondary program in a college or university.
A Better Future
Scholarship recipients are highly motivated teenage moms who recognize that higher education increases their chances for better employment and more stable housing, enabling them to provide a brighter future for themselves and their children. A Legacy Of Hope
Bequests
Leaving a legacy gift to Jessie’s in your will is a meaningful way to make a significant impact on the future of pregnant teens and young mothers in Toronto.
The process is simple. You only need to name Jessie’s: The June Callwood Centre for Young Women as a beneficiary in your will. You can leave a percentage of your estate, a cash donation, a life insurance policy, securities or property. Your lawyer can contact us for any legal information that is required.
A bequest offers financial advantages to you and your family by maximizing tax and estate benefits.
